We are a marketing body for commercial television in Finland. Screenforce Finland was founded in 2016. The members include: MTV Media, Sanoma Media Finland, Discovery Networks Finland and Fox Networks Group Finland. Screenforce Finland is a member of the Global TV Group and works closely with EGTA and the European Screenforce-network.
Screenforce is committed to lead efforts to advance the commercial television industry. Screenforce is an educational and enabling resource that assists the advertising community to understand television as a media better. This is done by conducting research and communicating the benefits of television advertising.
Screenforce is a community of media and marketing professionals. We organize events and educational courses, such as Screenforce Showroom for the new, rising talents in the industry. Annually we host Screenforce Day, a gathering of over 600 media and marketing professionals full of exciting, inspiring and informing cases and examples from home and abroad. We also host the Parhaat Sekunnit advertising award (Best Seconds) and participate in organizing the main film advertising awards, Voitto-gala.
The Global TV Group is an informal group of TV broadcasters, sales houses, and trade bodies in Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia and Latin America. Its objective is to promote television and remind advertisers, commentators, agencies and the broader media industry about the effectiveness and popularity of TV in all its forms. It was founded in 2013 and to date consists of 14 TV industry associations from across the globe.
